AFTER a two-year hiatus, the rebranded “Tunga”, which was a popular Zimbabwe drama series, will on Tuesday night make a comeback on ZTV.

The television drama series, which was rebranded from “Tunga” to “Tindike”, will be aired on ZTV every Tuesday at 7pm.

“Tunga” was last screened on ZTV in November 2019.

Willard “Slimaz” Magombedze, the producer of the drama said viewers should expect a better product.

“This new project is a masterpiece, which will do better than the previous production. A lot of effort was put into this project, and audiences must expect an improved production,” Magombedze said.

In this rebranded production, Magombedze stuck with the original cast, which steered the drama to dizzy heights.

The new drama series’ storyline is about the character Tindike, played by Takura Kachambwa, who inherited spiritual powers from his ancestors.

Tindike uses the magical powers to fight evil spirits that might want to torment his family.
