THE Harare City Council (HCC) has warned urban farmers to take the right measures when farming to avoid their crops from being destroyed by the local authority.

In an interview with The Sunday Mail on Wednesday, HCC spokesperson, Mr Michael Chideme, said:

“Those who are farming are supposed to do it on designated sites.

“Those who are planning to farm should approach the District Council, and be given proper farming places to avoid the chopping down of crops when they are grown.”
