In an interview with The Sunday Mail Online, Voltz JT said that he felt extra motivated after he scooped the best upcoming artiste gong.

“After winning an award as the best upcoming artiste, I felt very motivated and inspired.

“I want to work hard so that I am able to compete against the veterans in the hip-hop genre in Zimbabwe,” he said.

Voltz JT is very optimistic of the success of his new release.

“I am very confident that my song can do very well. It has a unique style.”

An electronic telecommunications student at the University of Zimbabwe, the singer said he still finds time for his music career because it is his passion.
