The Warriors arrived in Lagos, Nigeria, last night and are set to catch a connecting flight to Uyo this morning, where they will face the Super Eagles in a 2026 World Cup qualifier on Tuesday.
Zimbabwe, currently at the bottom of the six-team Group C with just three points from five matches, played to a 2-2 draw against Benin at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban, South Africa, on Thursday.
Following the match, the team flew to Johannesburg before connecting to Lagos yesterday.
With their World Cup qualification hopes dwindling, the Warriors will be looking to turn their campaign around against Nigeria, who boosted their tally to six points after securing a 2-0 victory over Rwanda at home.
The team is scheduled to hold a recovery training session later today before shifting focus to tactical preparations tomorrow.
