NEW: Warriors striker features in historic FA Cup match

ZIMBABWE senior team fringe player, Admiral Muskwe, lined up for Luton Town in a fifth round FA clash against European champions Chelsea on Wednesday night, and received a fair rating by the BBC.

23-year-old Muskwe played 76 minutes before he was replaced by Robert Snodgrass as the Championship side narrowly lost 2-3 at Kenilworth Road.

Muskwe is regarded as one of the key strikers, upon whom the future of the Warriors could be built.

He played a cameo role when the Warriors bowed out in the group stages of the 2021 African Cup of Nations finals held in Cameroon in January.

Muskwe has now settled at Luton after a brief stint with Wycombe Wanderers.

The Zimbabwean has also previously been on the books of Leicester City, although he mainly featured for their Under-23 outfit.

According to various reports, Muskwe did well against a Chelsea back three that was well marshalled by Antonio Rudiger.

The BBC, who raved a lot about Luton Town’s gallant performance, gave Muskwe a 6.31 rating.

“Luton showed why they are in the Championship play-offs as they performed with real verve and energy that bodes well as they push for promotion to the Premier League,” wrote the BBC.
