VICTORY is imminent for the revolutionary party come elections day, Zanu PF national secretary for information and publicity, Cde Christopher Mutsvangwa, has said.
Speaking this afternoon during two consecutive campaign rallies in Mutare South and Chikanga constituencies, Cde Mutsvangwa said people will vote for the party because of the notable strides to developing the nation taken that include the improvement of the economy by the Second Republic.
“Under the leadership of His Excellency, President Mnangagwa, we have recorded an improvement within our economy.
“Our currency has gained power because of the gold backed economy that came with the able leadership of President Mnangagwa. The country’s currency which was previously weak, has become strong. This has also improved investments in the country.
“The increased investments as well as the participation and involvement of our country within the comity of nations, stand as a testimony of the success of our Engagement and Re-engagement Policy. Zimbabwe will continue to be “a friend to all and an enemy to none”,” he said.
He said the obligation is on all Zimbabweans to vote for the revolutionary party on election day if they wish to continue witnessing notable developments within the country.
“Even our import-export game has improved in the country. Just closer to home in Buhera, lithium is being mined and as a result Manicaland will be developed and transformed. This will also create employment for all and is reason enough to vote back the party into office,” he said.
Cde Mutsvangwa called upon youths to come out in their numbers and vote for the revolutionary party on the day.
“Our heroes fought for our land and all that which is beneath our land. Let us go out in our numbers and vote on Wednesday. You as the people are the party and we expect you to vote for ZANU PF,” he said.
Aspiring candidate for Mutare South constituency, Cde Tawanda Dumbarimwe said victory for the party is certain in his constituency, while aspiring candidate for Chikanga constituency, Cde Kenneth Muchina reiterated the same sentiments.
“As we renew our Government leadership, we will remember what the Second Republic had in store for us. I am confident that we will all go out in our numbers and put back a Government of development into power,” he said.
