NEW: ZBC to launch two new channels

National broadcaster, the Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation (ZBC), will soon launch two new channels.

Presenting the post-Cabinet briefing on Tuesday, Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services Minister Monica Mutsvangwa said:

“Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation will soon be launching two more channels towards fulfilment of its mandate, and for these channels to be effectively rolled out, in addition to the on-going digitalisation of its transmitters, the organisation has to be capacitated.”

Minister Mutsvangwa said Cabinet had also deliberated on the review of ZBC’s licence fees.
