Zimbabwe and Botswana are making progress in implementing Memoranda of Understanding and agreements by the two countries’ leaders, Foreign Affairs and International Trade permanent secretary, Ambassador James Manzou has said.

Speaking at the ongoing third session of the Zimbabwe-Botswana Bi-National Commission (BNC) in Harare on Tuesday, Ambassador Manzou said the Midterm Review (MTR) would assist in assessing what has been achieved, and what still needs to be done.

“A lot of progress has been made in implementing the decisions that were agreed upon by our two leaders, in order to address our developmental aspirations.

“The MTR provides us with an opportunity to take stock of what has been done, and what still needs to be done in response to the decisions of the third session of the BNC, which was held in February in Victoria Falls,” he said.
