Zimbabwe has launched the National Cyber Security Awareness Month bringing together government officials, experts and industry leaders to address the escalating threat of cybercrime nationally.

Speaking during the conference in Harare on Thursday, Information Communication Technology, Postal and Courier Services Minister Tatenda Mavetera said that the conference will spread to other parts, including the rural areas.

“The conference will reach other parts of Zimbabwe, including rural areas, promoting cyber security awareness and inclusivity.

“As we embark on this critical journey toward greater cyber resilience, let us remember that we are stronger together.

“By collaborating, sharing knowledge and supporting one another we can create a safer digital environment for all,” she said.
