NEW: Zimsec announces exam fees

THE Zimbabwe School Examination Council (ZIMSEC) has announced interbank rates to be applied on the 2023 November Ordinary and Advanced Level examination fees to be paid in local currency.

In a circular signed by ZIMSEC’s director of finance, a Ms Z Muzenda, it is stated that the fees are to be paid during the period of April 4 to 14.

The rate to be applied will be $1 029, 74 rounded up to $1 030 to US$1. Payments are to be made into the local ZWL accounts which ZIMSEC communicated to centres.

The circular also states that foreign currency in the form of US$ and rand payments will be accepted via direct deposits into the accounts that ZIMSEC also communicated to the centres.

It further states that centres will transmit examination fees in the currency which the parent/guardian paid the fees.
