THE Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) will be held from July 20 to July 23 this year after it was postponed last year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
“Please be advised that the President (Emmerson Mnangagwa) has approved that the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair be held during the period 20th to 23rd July 2021,” said Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Industry and Commerce Dr Mavis Sibanda in a statement.
The previous edition of ZITF – which ran under the theme “Propagating Industrial Growth through Trade and Investment” in 2019 – saw space being sold out for the first time since its inception in 1959, forcing organisers to pitch up tents.
The expo is the country’s biggest business event that attracts over 300 tourism-related exhibitors from across the globe.
