Talented gospel songstress Minister Lindani is gearing up to release her second full studio album titled Ngeka Jesu Lento. The album launch will feature a live DVD recording with performances from Pastor Barak, Vusa Mangena, and Faith Mucha. The event will take place at Wealthy World in Bulawayo.

Ngeka Jesu Lento consists of 10 tracks, including the title track, Usomhlolo, Imvana Eyophayo, Zita Rashe, Akasibaleli, Jesu Wangu, Lindela KuJesu, Sigcwalise, Ulungile Baba, and Lolu Thando.

Minister Lindani shared that the album reflects her unwavering faith and passion for serving God.
“This is my second album, and I’ll be launching it with a live DVD because I’m a worshipper. I felt that I should pour out my all in a live performance. The message will be delivered live to ensure it reaches my fans and followers with its full importance. The album is all about God’s love for mankind and the need to cherish every moment of it,” said Minister Lindani.

One of the standout tracks on the album, Akasibaleli (which means “He does not forget us”), holds deep significance for Minister Lindani. She described the song as a testament to God’s goodness and undeniable presence in her life. The lyrics express her conviction that God never forsakes His children.

Having been a born-again believer since the age of four, Minister Lindani emphasised that her music is not about making money but about serving God and uplifting His name. Despite suggestions from some to take a more light-hearted approach, she remains steadfast in her calling.
“When I make music, many can testify that I mean serious business – not to make money, but to impact lives. My duty is to see God exalted among men. Ngeka Jesu Lento (This thing is for God). Some people think I am too spiritual and suggest I should loosen up and give a different vibe, but I can’t.
“When I minister, I am serving the One who called me, trusting that He will take care of the rest concerning my fans and supporters. No one can twist me to do otherwise. Those who follow me are blessed because I lead them to the right place,” said the Ngiyabonga hit-maker. – @mthabisi_mthire
