RISING sungura musician, Mark Ngwazi, invades Colour Purple Leisure Spot in Southerton this Sunday for a family show.
Ngwazi, who is basking in the glory of his latest project titled Nharo Nezvine Nharo, has been carrying the man-of-the-moment tag with pride.
On Sunday, he shares the stage with Douglas Katsvairo, who once fronted Tembo Brothers.
“This is part of my first outreach tour of the new album and I am inviting my fans to an interesting outing at the Colour Purple Leisure Spot.
“We are planning to have fun and promote the new project, it’s encouraging that the new album has left an impact countrywide.
“We are inviting all our fans to bring in the whole family and enjoy the music,” said Ngwazi.
Ngwazi’s humour-laden songs have made him a hit with the fans who expect a jam-packed event come Sunday. The Njanja-bred singer has promised to be at his best.
Organisers say they have also prepared treats for the whole family.
“We are excited to host man-of-the-moment Mark Ngwazi, we have prepared an exciting line-up and activities for the whole family.
“Show starts at 12 noon for the children who will be treated to their usual fun activities, including jumping castles, face painting while a full bar and braai will be provided for our patrons,” said Colour Purple proprietor, Mai Jojo.
