THE Zimbabwe Achievers Awards (ZAA) has appointed Mr Nicholas Bhero as its Non-Executive Global Chairman, effective immediately, for a two-year term.
In a statement, ZAA said Mr Bhero takes over from Dr Ted Nyatanga, who successfully served in the role, “providing strong leadership and contributing significantly to the growth, credibility, and global positioning of the organisation”.
“ZAA extends its sincere appreciation to Dr Nyatanga for his dedicated service and impactful tenure,” it said.
ZAA said Mr Bhero’s appointment marks an important step in strengthening ZAA’s global leadership structure as the organisation continues to expand its footprint as a leading platform for recognising excellence and driving diaspora engagement.
In his role as Non-Executive Global Chairman, Mr Bhero is expected to provide strategic leadership, governance oversight, and advisory support, working closely with the president and Executive Team to advance ZAA’s global vision.
“He will play a key role in:
* Guiding ZAA’s international growth and positioning
* Supporting high-level partnerships and stakeholder engagement
* Enhancing governance and institutional credibility
* Representing ZAA at strategic global platforms”.
Mr Conrad Mwanza, founder and president of ZAA, said:

Mr Bhero is a business leader and strategist with experience spanning entrepreneurship, investment, and organisational leadership.
He has a strong track record in business development and strategic growth.
