Nine die in accident, baby’s head cut off

A truck driver who recently caused an accident in Ruwa, Harare in which nine people died and a baby’s head was cut off, has been sentenced to four years’ imprisonment.

The driver, Derrick John Chitope appeared before Epworth magistrate Tafadzwa Miti who suspended two years on condition of good behavior and prohibited him from driving heavy vehicles for life.
