Nine models for inaugural Miss Royalty ramp

NINE models are set to take to the ramp for the inaugural Miss Royalty which seeks to empower women in the ramp industry in Bulawayo.

In its first edition and founded by Wesley Gandary of Vision Arts Foundation, the pageant will give an opportunity for models to showcase their talent and these are namely Sibonile Buhle Sibanda, Thembelihle Moyo, Alindah Ncube, Abigail Marie_lee Nkomo, Lebelihle Sibanda, Nomaqhawe Ncube, Yasmeen Lawrence, Tahanha Ndlovu and Vicky C Maduna.

Gandary said winners will walk away with food hampers and sanitary pads as ways of alleviating period poverty and hunger in communities.

“The pageant seeks to unite young women from diverse communities through activities that build leadership, confidence, talent, education and social awareness.

“We want to empower them to become ambassadors for positive youth development and social change,” said Gandary.
