Nine players out of PSL Week 28 action

Nine players have been suspended from taking part for their respective clubs in Week 28 of the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League, which makes a return on Saturday.

The suspended players have all accumulated three yellow cards.

The local elite football programme was put on hold last weekend due to the FIFA international break, during which the Warriors played Benin on Friday night. On Tuesday, Zimbabwe are set to face Rwanda in Johannesburg, South Africa.

FC Platinum will be without the duo of Bothwell Nzori and Vincent Nyangulu when they clash with Highlanders at Mandava Stadium on Saturday.

For their home tie against Ngezi Platinum Stars, ZPC Kariba will be missing goalkeeper Future Sibanda and striker Stanley Ngala.

Admire Dzumbunu (TelOne), Clive Mandiveyi (Dynamos), Godfrey Manase and Tatenda Mutyambizi (MWOS), together with Andile Taruvinga (Kwekwe United), complete the list of suspended players.

TelOne v MWOS (Ascot), Chicken Inn v Kwekwe United (Luveve), Manica Diamonds v Greenfuel (Sakubva), Simba Bhora v Scottland (Wadzanayi), Herentals v Caps United (Rufaro), ZPC Kariba v Ngezi Platinum Stars (Nyamhunga), FC Platinum v Highlanders (Mandava), Yadah FC v Bikita Minerals (Heart Stadium).
