Zimbabwean DJ and record producer Nitefreak, born Bhekinkosi Melusi Mabhena, is continuing his global rise after unveiling an action-packed international tour schedule spanning August and September.
The Afro house sensation, who has built a reputation for his atmospheric productions and genre-defining sound, will perform across some of the world’s leading entertainment destinations, taking his Zimbabwean identity and electronic music influence to international audiences.
Nitefreak’s upcoming tour will see him perform in North America, South America, Europe and the Caribbean, with stops at renowned venues and entertainment hubs.
The tour kicks off on August 7 at Looloo CDMX in Mexico City before moving to Bagatelle Miami on August 9. He will then head to Los Angeles for a performance at Sound Los Angeles on August 14, followed by On The Hiyu in Seattle on August 15 and Spin San Diego on August 21.
In September, the DJ will expand his footprint with performances in Colombia, the United States, Spain and the Dominican Republic. His schedule includes appearances at Salón Amador in Medellín on September 3, Octava in Bogotá on September 5, Bijou Boston on September 11 and USS New Jersey in Philadelphia on September 12.
The international run continues with shows in Brooklyn on September 18, San Francisco on September 19. He will later perform at Solèy at Hï Ibiza in Spain on September 21, Washington D.C. on September 25 and Wild Room in Punta Cana on September 26.
Additional dates are expected to be announced as the tour progresses.
Nitefreak’s continued global demand reflects the growing influence of African electronic music, particularly Afro house, on the international stage. Through his releases on respected electronic music labels and performances around the world, he has become one of Zimbabwe’s leading exports in the global dance music scene.
