Zoey and her rival Bev have over the past year hogged the limelight with their sexually charged performances that have left tongues wagging. A debate is raging regarding who is the better between the two controversial performers.
In an interview, entertainment manager at Hustlers Leisure Centre, Simon Gama said their efforts to bring the two dancers together for a showdown failed to materialise after it emerged that Bev has been billed to perform in Gokwe.
Hustlers Leisure Centre had promised to bring the two performers together for a once-off showdown.
“Zoey is scheduled to perform at the club on Friday but we had originally planned to make this a showdown with Bev. However, it emerged that Bev is scheduled to perform at the Unity Gala,” he said.
Gama said although the clash has been postponed for now, fans should still look forward to it as plans are still on for the duo’s joint show.
“The clash has been shelved for now but we are still committed to organize a joint show for the two,” he said.
Gama promised a fun-filled night for revellers as Zoey has promised to bring out her best.
“Zoey has promised a lot of new routines and during the time that she has not been performing in Bulawayo she has been working on new dances,” he said.
Contacted for comment Zoey said she was raring to go. She also spoke about a road accident she was involved in last week.
“I did not sustain serious injuries and neither did any of my dancers so all are fit to perform. What occurred last week was that we had a trye burst and nothing more. People are just making a big deal out of it when there is really no reason for doing so,” she said.
