Minister of Energy and Power Development July Moyo is set to officially launch the project. The Rural Electrification Agency (REA), through its aggressive rollout of renewable energy and grid extension projects, has become one of the key institutions translating that vision into reality.
The solar plant is now supplying electricity to more than 40 homesteads and critical public institutions, including a clinic, primary school, police station, government sub-offices, and community boreholes.

The mantra of leaving no one and no place behind is central to the Government’s Vision 2030 drive to build an upper-middle-income economy.
