FORMER Warriors coach and captain Norman Mapeza will take charge of his last match for FC Platinum this afternoon when they face Dynamos in a crucial Castle Lager Premiership encounter.

Dynamos go into the match needing at least a point to guarantee their league survival.
Mapeza rejoined FC Platinum in 2020 after leaving the club in 2019 following a five-year stint.

He went on to manage the team for another five years but will bid farewell today as the season comes to an end.
Widely regarded as one of the most successful local coaches in Zimbabwe, Mapeza guided FC Platinum to three Castle Lager Premiership titles in 2017, 2018, and 2022. He has four league titles to his name, having also led Monomotapa to glory in 2008.

Mapeza has recently been linked with newly promoted Kwekwe-based side Hardrock FC and CAPS United.
