Norton Town Council is expected to host a Water Investment Symposium next month at the University of Zimbabwe in Harare as part of efforts to attract investment into the town’s water infrastructure development programme.
The symposium, which is being organised in partnership with the University of Zimbabwe, is aimed at engaging prospective investors, development partners and other stakeholders interested in supporting the construction of Norton’s proposed water treatment plant.
Acting Public Relations Officer Mr Leeroy Kaponda said the event will provide a platform to showcase investment opportunities identified through a recently completed water feasibility study.
“Norton Town Council, in partnership with the University of Zimbabwe, cordially invites prospective investors, development partners and all interested stakeholders to the Norton Water Investment Symposium,” said Mr Kaponda.
“The symposium is intended to showcase investment opportunities related to the construction of Norton’s own water treatment plant, based on the findings of the water feasibility study undertaken under the Whole-of-Government Approach towards the attainment of Vision 2030.”
