Not again.

We have had and seen enough already.

The trauma that 2019 encompassed for us still pierce our hearts to the very core till date.

We have not fully recovered and only fate knows when we truly will.

 

Just when we thought we had seen enough, fate gave us a scare as another one came knocking on our doors.

As if Idai wasn’t terrifying enough , Freddy roared as he cruised across Southern Africa, only for the Cyclone to weaken and downgrade into a Tropical Depression before getting to Zimbabwe.

The news about Freddy got the meteorological department on their toes as they called for drastic measures.

 

We are grateful because the Government was highly alert for any possible extreme development.

 

Fortunately Freddy wasn’t as bad as we had envisioned.

 

To those in low lying zones, please always move to high ground whenever such news filters through.

 

Let’s all stay safe and please do not attempt to cross flooded rivers.
