Household furniture retailer Teecherz Furnitures says it is now on the recovery path after Covid-19-induced setbacks that affected business for the better part of 2020 and early 2021.

In an interview on the sidelines of the company’s Buy and Win Promotion prize-presentation ceremony on Wednesday, Teecherz Furnitures director Mrs Success Vheriwa said she was bullish about the future.

“The pandemic affected everybody in business worldwide and also caused a slowdown in business. We closed down all of our branches at some point, but we are back in businesses, thanks to the adjusted lockdown conditions which have allowed us to operate and our customers can now move better.”

She said the business was now primed for steady growth.

Spending in durable household goods is usually an indicator of consumer sentiment.
