URBAN grooves artiste Enock “Nox” Guni (pictured right) gave a top-drawer performance at Circus International Club on Friday. The gig was a farewell party as he embarks on a tour that will see him perform on three continents. The 29-year-old singer has already been booked for several overseas shows right to the end the year.

The “Ndinonyara” hitmaker, who is currently riding high in the local charts with his song ‘‘Usazvinyepere’’ and “I Love You”, is billed to perform in Scotland, the US and Canada.

Like wine, Nox seems to be maturing and with age as his stage performance was a marvel to watch. He performed some of his sing-along songs much to the delight of the fans who thronged the venue.

“At the moment, my calendar for confirmed shows stands like this – August 3 I will be here and will got to SA for the Cosmo City for the Urban Grooves Festival then between August 9 and 10 we are in Lesotho for the International Youth Festival,” he said.

“August 23 and 24 we are back to Birmingham and Coventry for King Alfred’s Birthday Bash then we will be back to Cape Town on August 31 for a show dubbed ‘Nox Back by Public Demand’ with Tendai DJ Commander Samu.

Nox also announced that on September 6 and 7 he will be performing in Scotland for the first time ever and then from September 27-30 he is billed to perform in USA and Canada.

The musician also owns a recording stable Ice and Rose.
“This project is probably one of its kind and could break barriers for our record label. The management is in full control of everything. We roped in a Jamaican artiste to spice up the compilation as well as to add international flair.

“I have been all over the world working flat out to make this project a success. Now the work is intact and he is back in full swing to give his fans new music,” he said.
