The National Prosecuting Authority of Zimbabwe has announced new senior appointments to enhance its leadership and operational capacity.

Long-serving chief law officer Mr Chris Mutangadura and Bulawayo-based chief public prosecutor Mrs Tariro Rosa Takuva have been promoted to Deputy Prosecutor-General.

Mr Dingidhlela Zisengwe, formerly head of uniformed service and commissions with the Public Service Commission, is now the NPAZ Board Secretary (Accounting Officer).

In a communication addressed to all senior officials at the NPAZ, Prosecutor-General Justice Loyce Matanda-Moyo stated: “These strategic appointments mark a significant milestone in strengthening the leadership and operational capacity of the authority as it continues to deliver on its mandate with professionalism, integrity, and excellence.

The newly appointed officers bring a wealth of experience, expertise, and commitment to the rule of law, and the authority is confident that their contributions will further enhance prosecutorial efficiency, organisational governance, and overall service delivery.”

Justice Matanda-Moyo congratulated the appointees and wished them success in their new roles.

Mr Mutangadura and Mrs Takuva will join Mr Nelson Mutsonziwa, who is already serving as a Deputy Prosecutor-General.
