NRZ to celebrate Valentine’s Day

Sashay Steam rail leisure train would use luxurious museum coaches. NRZ spokesperson Mr Fanuel Masikati said in a statement yesterday that the move would be in line with the organisation’s endeavour to be the safest mode of transport in the country.

The steam locomotive is scheduled to depart Bulawayo Station at 3pm and those intending to travel on the special train should check in an hour earlier. Travellers in the vintage steam locomotive would be treated to a candle-lit dinner and drinks at a cost of US$75 per couple and singles would be charged US$40.

“The maiden Valentine coach was introduced in 2010 to Plumtree when the response was overwhelming from both local and international enthusiasts,” said Mr Masikati.
