Nyakudya cuts ties with Eternity

ties with the musician.
“Dear fans, friends and all music lovers. This statement serves to inform you that Eternity Music Productions owned by Macdonald ‘Macdee’ Chidavaenzi has with immediate effect withdrawn all rights and responsibilities of the album ‘Shumba Yedenga,’ by Kudzi Nyakudya.

“This therefore means all copyrights, sales rights, distribution rights and any performance rights related to the album will be a direct responsibility of the artiste — Kudzi Nyakudya.” MacDee said he was only at liberty to say Nyakudza had “breached the contract”.

“I cannot say the reasons because of the professional reasons, but what I can say is that the musician has breached the contract and we cannot continue to work with him. We have worked together for the past four years and I wish him well,” he said.
Nyakudya said he had decided to market his album on his own.

“It’s true that I have severed ties with MacDee because I want to market my own album alone. It’s my product and I can do what I want with it,” he said.
