NYARADZO Funeral Service will embark on an environmental awareness campaign aimed at  highlighting the importance of a clean and safe environment.

The Walkathon Steering Committee chairperson, Pauline Mjanja, told H-Metro that 102 participants will walk 20km from Ruwa to Goromonzi tomorrow and spread the message to communities.

They will be addressed at Goromonzi Police Station by police commanders, Government officials and members of the Zimbabwe Prisons and Correctional Service.

“We are happy with the number of participants who registered and volunteered to take part in the campaign.

“As they walk from Ruwa, they will be spreading the message to communities that our environment matters and must be kept clean and safe at all times,” said Mjanja.

Nyaradzo Funeral Service hopes to inspire people to take positive steps towards creating a better environment.
