THE Nyaradzo Group has launched a mobile application aimed at enhancing customer experience in the funeral services sector.
Speaking to Zimpapers Online, Nyaradzo Group chief information officer Mr Tendayi Chirokote said the mobile app was designed to put control, clarity and convenience into the hands of every policyholder.
“The mobile app, now available for download on Android and iOS devices, is part of the group’s wider digital transformation strategy and offers a suite of powerful features that streamline how customers engage with funeral services, insurance policies and payment options,” said Mr Chirokote.
The launch of the mobile app, he said, marks a new chapter in Nyaradzo Group’s legacy — one where technology meets tradition to better serve today’s dynamic client base.
The mobile app, he said, is particularly advantageous for younger, tech-savvy users and those in the Diaspora, providing them with greater control over their policies.
“For over two decades, Nyaradzo has built a reputation on dignified service and innovation in the end-of-life sector.
“Whether a client is looking to track their policy, pay premiums, view dependants, the app provides a single, secure, and user-friendly platform to do it all.
“Diaspora clients can now manage their Sahwira International Plan (SIP) from anywhere in the world, removing friction and delays that may arise due to distance or time zones,” he explained.
He said to facilitate user adoption, Nyaradzo Group has implemented a comprehensive support plan, including a frequently asked questions section, in-app chat support, a twenty-four seven call center, and trained staff at branches to assist with the mobile app usage.
He added that ongoing engagement initiatives, such as social media tutorials and in-person demonstrations, aim to enhance familiarity with the app.
“Frontline staff at Nyaradzo branches have been trained to walk clients through the download and registration process.
“Engagement drives, social media tutorials, and in-person demonstrations during events such as the Nyaradzo Run & Fun Day will help ensure ongoing familiarity and comfort with the platform,” he said.
“The app is more than just a tool; it’s a reflection of our vision to create a more seamless, accessible and efficient way for Zimbabweans everywhere to stay connected to their policy, their legacy, and their loved ones,” Mr Chirokote pointed out.
He further said in addition to funeral services and insurance management, the app was also integrated with the WhatsApp chatbot (Sahwi), further consolidating Nyaradzo’s tech ecosystem into one holistic experience.
