Nyaungwe Arts Ensembe wins Chibuku Neshamwari finals

Nyaungwe Arts Ensembe from Murehwa, Mashonaland East, won the 2024 Chibuku Neshamwari Traditional Dance finals held at Mucheke Stadium in Masvingo.

The mbende group won the US$15 000 prize.

Culture Warriors of Harare pocketed US$10 000 after being placed on second place, while Dapurahunzva Arts Ensemble of Manicaland was on third place and was awarded US$7 500.

The competing groups were Bolamba Performing Arts (Matabeleland South), Nyaungwe Dance Group (Mashonaland East), Gango (Masvingo), Khaya Arts (Bulawayo), Dzimbahwe Nengoma (Mashonaland Central), Pezhuba Pachena (Matabeleland North), Culture Warriors (Harare), Mkango (Midlands), Dapuraunanzva Arts Ensemble (Manicaland), and Budiriro Arts (Mashonaland West).
