Tamy Moyo is upbeat ahead of her latest musical offering, “Bold”, which will be released on Tuesday.
The album, which has been in the works for some time, promises to deliver a diverse range of sounds and emotions, showcasing Tamy’s evolution as an artist.
Speaking at a listening session for the album on Saturday evening held at Zimoco Borrowdale showroom, Tamy Moyo expressed her enthusiasm over the upcoming release.
“I named the album “Bold” because it symbolises strength and a unique ability to capture that emotion through song,” she said.
“I want it to be a reminder to many of us to draw inspiration from the deepest parts of ourselves and live in our truths without shame, to learn to speak to ourselves like the champions we truly are as we embark on our different journeys in life.”
Tamy’s dedication to her craft is evident in the collaborative effort behind “Bold”.
The album features a diverse range of tracks, each carefully crafted to resonate with listeners worldwide. Working with esteemed producers such as Rodney Beatz and Mr Brown, Tamy Moyo has created a musical tapestry that blends influences from Afro-pop, soul, and contemporary R&B.
Furthermore, the album has been inspired by a variety of artists, including Delroy Shewe, Saintfloew, Jah Prayzah, Alick Macheso, Nutty O, Winky D, the late Chiwoniso Maraire and Soul Jah love, resulting in a rich and multifaceted collection of songs.
Tamy Moyo’s unique blend of soulful vocals and infectious melodies is set to make “Bold” a stand-out addition to her discography.
