According reports from Buffalo in New York, Hove is one of two players who were recognised by the ITA when they released their final regional rankings of the year.

In fact, the ITA released their final regional rankings of the year at the beginning of this week and both the University at Buffalo men’s and women’s tennis teams had representation on the final polls.

On the women’s side, junior Tanvi Shah was ranked 18th in the entire Northeast Region, while on the men’s side, senior Hove of Zimbabwe was named 20th in the region.

Incorporating the entire Ivy League and team’s from other major conferences, the Northeast Region is typically one of the toughest in the United States. Hove, the 2013 MAC Player of the Year, caps off his career with the regional honour after he led the Bulls with a 19-11 overall singles record, including 4-1 in MAC play, at first singles.

A three-time All-MAC honoree, Hove was named to the first team for the second straight season after earning a second team nod in 2011.
