KAIZER Chiefs midfielder Edmore Chirambadare has claimed that talks of him being offloaded at the end of the season are just rumours and he has not received any paperwork from his pay masters confirming the issue.
According to Kickoff website, Chirambadare is among four players that are set to leave the South Africa Premiership Soccer League club at the end of the season as Amakhosi seek to make new signings in the summer transfer window period.
The former Chicken Inn talisman, upon being asked if he was set to be offloaded by Kaizer Chiefs at the end of this campaign, said he was still a Kaizer Chiefs player and the news of him being offloaded by Amakhosi are just rumours.
“What I know for now is that I am a Kaizer Chiefs player until the end of the season and if you want to know about my future you will have to talk to the club officials but what I can assure you is that the news of me being offloaded at the end of the season are just rumours since I have not received anything official from my club concerning the issue,” he said.
If offloaded, Chirambadare will be the second player from Chicken Inn to be let off the books by Kaizer Chiefs, after the Glamour Boys offloaded Michelle Katsvairo at the beginning of this year. Other players reported as being on their way out are goalkeeper Brilliant Khuzwayo, Keagan Buchanan and Tsepo Masilela.
