Oil find in Ghana

ACCRA – Lukoil Offshore said yesterday it found high showings of oil and gas at its Cape Three Points Deep Water block off the coast of Ghana and the Energy Minister said Lukoil was in a 90-day period of testing whether the finding was commercially viable.
“Lukoil has come to report a discovery and under the petroleum agreement they have 90 days to do an appraisal to determine whether it is commercial,” said Energy Minister Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah.- Reuters.
