OLD  Hararians coach  Cyprian Mandenge believes his team now have a good chance of winning the Lion Lager National League after their victory over  Matabeleland Warriors who they  thrashed 47-15 on Saturday.  The Old Boys finally remembered how to accumulate their score in the league once again since 2005 when they last won the league.
It was their day and the ball was in their hands as they took control of the ball and their forwards were brilliant.
The Old Boys led 27-7 in the first half before amassing 20 more points in the second half.
Mandege feels his team did well in the semi-final but there are areas where they need to work on.
“We should not easily get satisfied that we are in the final but we need to get into the final and win it.

“We are taking a step at a time and I believe we can win the cup.
“ The Old Boys are very hungry and are motivated by the fact they last won the cup in 2005 and that is why they have put in a lot of sacrifices for team, for us to be where we are now is because of our hard work.

“They have a good chance of winning but just need to remain focused,” said Mandege.
In another match defending champions Harare Sports Club failed to pull through the semi-final of the Lion Lager National Rugby League after suffering a 33-22 at the hands of the hosts Old Georgians on Saturday.

Hosts Old Georgians used home advantage to win the encounter.
But fans were worried because the match was played in the dark as the pitch had  no flood lights.

All the tricks that Harare Sports Club tried to conjure were in vain as the hosts ensured that they won the match which was well structured although it started late.

The Old Boys will now have to face Old Georgians in the final which will be played at Old Hararians this coming weekend.
It will be a tough since both teams are craving for the cup.
