Former Star FM award-winning host DJ Ollah 7, is set to gain new followers from the city of Kings as he will be hosting the Ollah 7 Podcast show on Wednesday (20 March) at the Bulawayo City Hall car park.

The gig is part of his “city to city tour” where he aims at fostering new relationships with the audience through his new podcast and performances done by local artistes.

For the Bulawayo gig, those who will share the stage together are legendary Jazz muso Jeys Marabini, Sandra Ndebele, Mzoe 7, Tojey Blox, Mzistoz Mfanafuthi Ma9Nine DJ Nivek as well as Intombi Zomqangala.

As he gears up for the much-anticipated event, DJ Ollah 7 said he is looking forward to having fun with his followers in Bulawayo and is also keen on working with the city’s up-and-coming creatives so as to give them exposure.

“We are excited to be bringing this event to Bulawayo and the City Hall car park is the place to be tomorrow for everyone as we are prepared for an electrifying gig. We have done this tour in Harare, Marondera as well as Mutare and finally we will be at the city of Kings. On the previous gigs, the audience received this initiative very well and the numbers approved that as the brand we are on the right path.

“On each and every city we visit, we make sure that we work with artistes from that particular city so that we foster good relationships at the same time giving exposure to some of the young up and coming artistes,” said Ollah 7.

Award winning muso Mzoe 7 who will be part of the gig, promised a splendid performance and fireworks.

“As local artistes we really appreciate such initiatives by Ollah 7 and we encourage that any company or brand that will come and do activities in Bulawayo, must also incorporate local creatives to boost their growth.

“Myself and the crew are ready for the event tomorrow and people have to come in numbers so that we have more fun together as we will dish out a polished display on stage,” said Mzoe 7.

Meanwhile, Ollah 7 was awarded the Outstanding Media Entrepreneur of the Year National and Outstanding Podcast Show of the Year accolades at the Zimbabwe Business Awards.

On his social media pages he posted, “I am deeply honored and grateful to have been awarded both Media Entrepreneur of the Year National and Podcast Show of the Year. This recognition means the world to me.

“I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has supported me throughout this journey , my dedicated audience, loyal followers, amazing team, and all those who have believed in my vision.

“I would also like to pay homage to the organisers and judges for this prestigious recognition. It is truly a privilege to be recognised for doing what I love, and I am committed to continuing to deliver content that informs, entertains, and inspires.”
