Sikhumbuzo Moyo Check Point
HIGHLANDERS life member Omega Sibanda has offered a holiday at a resort in any part of Southern Africa for club treasurer Nkani Khoza and also promised gold-plated certificates of appreciation to members of the leadership structure as well as benefactor Wicknel Chivayo.
Sibanda made the pledge at the club’s Annual General Meeting on Sunday.
The former ZIFA vice-president said he was pleased with the financial presentation by Khoza, describing the report as on point and leaving nothing to doubt.
“I have offered Khoza a holiday for two at any resort in Southern Africa. His report was on point. I will also present certificates of appreciation to board chairman Luke Mnkandla, fellow board member Dumisani Sandi, club chairman Kenneth Mhlophe, club member and curator Jabulani Nkomo, as well as our all-weather benefactor Wicknel Chivayo,” said Sibanda.
He said his decision was influenced by the beneficiaries’ principled stance in steering the club through difficult circumstances.
