Oskido launches lifestyle festival

DJ and music producer Oskido is set to pay homage to South Africa’s rich musical heritage with his lifestyle festival, Big Day Out.

The festival on November 30 at Huddle Park, Johannesburg, will look at the past three decades of music, rekindling the golden era of kwaito by showcasing performances in line-up of legendary artists.

While the line-up is yet to be announced, Oskido said attendees should look forward to a blend of old favourites and new hits.

“Big Day Out is not just about the music. It’s about celebrating our rich culture, our colourful history and the joy that comes with it – music and food,” said the Zimbabwean born musician.

“Together with my team, we are excited to bring together some of the greatest talents in the country for a day of pure nostalgia and vibrant energy.”
