Pagels’ romance with Zim football continues

FORMER Warriors coach Klaus Dieter Pagels’ romance with local football continues, with the German hosting a Zimbabwe Select Team from Association of Trust Schools, which is touring the European country.

The former ZIFA technical adviser, who also had a brief stint with the national team, has facilitated a tour for the students who were selected from the Conference for Heads of Independent Schools in Zimbabwe Under-16 soccer tournament in June at Peterhouse.

The footballers were drawn from St George’s, Gateway, Watershed College, St John’s, Westridge, Peterhouse, Lomagundi College, Hillcrest, Midlands Christian College, Goldridge, Falcon College, Kyle College and South Eastern College.
