Musician Pamhidzai ‘Pah Chihera’ Mbirimi has always loved cooking and will be opening her kitchen on Saturday evening in Harare.
She says it has always been her dream to own a kitchen.
It will be based at Londoners Sports Bar in Strathaven.
“It’s a dream come true, I have loved cooking since I was very young, and that’s when I did Hotel and Catering at Herentals.
“I then started cooking from home and doing deliveries in town before Mrs Debbie Mubi saw my flier.
“She then asked my manager DJ Zagga if I wanted a kitchen at Londoners.
“I was so excited that I am launching the kitchen this Saturday and it will be officially starting on July 1.”
Pah Chihera holds a Diploma in Hotel and Catering.
“The launch is this Saturday from 6 pm till late with Pah herself performing live supported by some of the country’s top musicians including Terry Afrika, Goodchild, Elliot KOH among other artists.
“This is a milestone in Pah’s career and she is now diversifying,” said her manager DJ Torne Zagga.
“As artists, we need to diversify and rely on performing alone. We need to find other alternatives to enhance what we get from performances.
“So for Pah, we are looking forward to seeing her following her dream.”
