Mr Phillip Hamunakwadi of Mugiya and Mupindu Law Chambers represented the pair.
In defence, the 15-year-old told the court that he was sitting for his Grade 7 final examinations when the alleged rape occurred.
The second accused said he had left the village in 2007.
Prosecutor Mr Luke Mutupe however, proved that on November 6 2008, the minor was staying with her grandmother and her father requested her to come to Beatrice so that she could visit her paternal grandmother’s place of burial.
On the day in question, the second accused, came to the house and took her to his place after her father had left for work.
Mutupe told the court that the 16-year-old called his friend and the two took turns to rape the girl.
The pair threatened to assault her if she reported the crime.
The rape was discovered when she returned to her grandmother’s home.
A police report was made leading to the arrest of the two boys.
