The State of Palestine has saluted protestors across the world for standing in solidarity with the country in the ongoing genocide by the Israeli government.

Palestinian Ambassador, Dr Tamer Almassri said the Israeli army is committing systematic and repeated crimes against civilians, including mass massacres, starvation, preventing humanitarian aid, forced displacement and the destruction of properties, especially on eastern Khan Yunis.

He said this coincides with the forced displacement of tens of thousands of Palestinian civilians amid catastrophic humanitarian and medical conditions as a result of the intense and violent occupation.

“We appreciate efforts by protesters worldwide in standing in solidarity with the Palestinian people and over 50 US congressmen who boycotted Netanyahu’s empty speech which jeopardise the prospect of peace in the region,” he said.

“If the world is truly eager to achieve security and peace in the region, it must compel Netanyahu’s government to stop its aggression against the Palestinian people.

“The Palestinian people will not leave their land and will continue to resist the Israeli occupation through all means necessary permitted at international law to achieve their independent state, with Jerusalem as its capital.”

The Palestinian death toll in the Gaza Strip has now increased to 39 145.
