AFRO-JAZZ band Pamuzinda Music Ensemble is set to embark on a tour of Germany to promote their latest album Rwendo.

The album has eight tracks, which include songs such as Blessed One, Burning Fire, Mafaro, Mudiwa Wangu, Mutorwa, Love Feeling, Tend and Rwendo/Journey. The tour will commence in Hamburg on May 11 and more dates are expected to be announced soon.

Although the band has no hit song on radio at present, each track from the album Rwendo is a masterpiece, blending cultural richness with contemporary sounds to create an unforgettable listening experience.

From the well-knit Blessed One to the infectious rhythms of Mutorwa, every song is a testament to Pamuzinda’s unique talent and artistry.

The band, which hails from Highfield in Harare celebrated 33 years in the music industry last year.

For years, Pamuzinda has been serenading fans in the diaspora.

The group’s continued participation in several cultural programmes has enhanced its profile.
