FASHION’S most glamorous week is in full swing, and the biggest names in the entertainment industry have touched down in Paris as famous designers from luxury fashion houses unveil their latest collections.
Celebrities have been stepping out in one incredible look after another, but Teyana Taylor and Cardi B have completely stolen the show, as per usual.
From denim sets to sculptural gowns that will leave you in awe, both the A-list celebs are definitely our favourites when it comes to serving fashion.
Let’s unpack some of our favourite looks so far: Cardi B
Starting with Cardi B, the rapper hardly disappoints during Fashion Week. I don’t know, but her wardrobe team definitely knows how to get the internet talking about her looks.
What fashion enthusiasts like about her is that she is very experimental with her looks. From donning a simple dress to then wearing a jaw-dropping outfit topped with the most creative hairstyle ever, it is insane (in a good way).
The first look that had the internet talking was the stunning red gown that she wore for the Robert Wun fashion show.
It’s not only Zendaya who can wear something straight from the runway, but the “Bodak Yellow” rapper’s gown was also straight from the runway.
She styled the bold gown with a matching sphere-shaped bag.
For her second look, the 33-year-old rapper looked ethereal in a body-hugging gown for the Rahul Mishra fashion show.
The white dress featured embroidery, sculptural detailing and hand embellishments, creating a look that looked like wearable art.
She certainly looked like a modern-day goddess as the dress also had layers of beadwork wrapped around the neckline and extending over the shoulders.
She paired the beautiful dress with crystal chandelier earrings and an ornate crystal ornament on her forehead.
The third look that turned heads is the black-and-white zebra-print bodysuit as she attended the Jean Paul Gaultier fashion show.
I know, it looks like a typical bodysuit that you can certainly get from any clothing store.
But Cardi B elevated the look completely with 15-inch thigh-high boots that you wouldn’t think of wearing for any type of event.
She accessorised the look with tie-inspired bracelets and a necklace.
The rapper kept it classy for the fourth look and wore a yellow and black snakeskin-print dress with a matching coat and handbag.
She wore this look for the Messika Haute Joaillerie fashion show and when she stepped out for dinner.
By far, these four looks were the absolute favourites among the ensembles she has worn since arriving in Paris.
Meanwhile, the long-awaited wedding of the decade has finally taken place, and although the celebrations were held behind closed doors, the excitement surrounding the occasion is impossible to ignore.
The princess of pop, Taylor Swift, and Travis Kelce tied the knot at Madison Square Garden on Friday, July 3, in front of 1,000 guests, and details surrounding her wedding dress are finally emerging slowly.
It is reported that Swift wore a Christian Dior haute couture gown that was created at the brand’s workshop in Paris.
The bridal gown was custom-designed by Jonathan Anderson, the creative director of Dior Women and Men and the Haute Couture Collection.
In addition, Swift is the first celebrity to wear a haute couture bridal look designed by Anderson.
The luxury brand confirmed in a statement that it designed both the groom’s and the bride’s wedding looks.
“Christian Dior Haute Couture is delighted to confirm it has created the wedding looks for the marriage of Taylor and Travis. They have been created in Dior’s ateliers at 30 Avenue Montaigne, Paris, and designed by Jonathan Anderson, Creative Director of Dior Women’s, Men’s and Haute Couture Collections, in close collaboration with the couple,” Dior shared.
Anderson is a popular designer who served as creative director at Loewe for 11 years before stepping down in March 2025.
In June 2025, he joined Dior and took over at both the brand’s men’s and women’s wear. He later debuted his first Dior collection in the same month with a Paris Fashion show.
The multi-award-winning singer’s representatives confirmed that she accessorised her wedding gown with Cartier jewellery and Christian Louboutin shoes.
“This is the designer’s first couture wedding dress for a world-renowned celebrity. Their shoes were custom-made by Christian Louboutin, and the bride wore Cartier jewellery,” they said.
Although the wedding was and still is the most trending topic globally, it was kept highly secretive, and with the 1,000 guests attending the wedding, still no pictures have been released to the public yet. While we await pictures of the highly anticipated bridal gown, can we talk about how non-traditional Swift’s wedding was?
From choosing Madison Square Garden as the wedding venue, the wedding date, to inviting 1,000 people, yet choosing to make the wedding private.
Then, opting not to have any bridesmaids and groomsmen for the wedding, instead, Swift’s brother Austin Swift was her man of honour while the NFL player chose his brother, Jason Kelce to be his best man. – iolnews
