ACTION continues in the Bulawayo Metropolitan Province Darts League tonight with Parkview Kanka playing host to defending champions Archers.Both teams go into today’s encounter determined to win. Parkview Kanka who are placed 12th on the table are looking forward to winning against the defending champions in order to move two places up while Archers who are captained by Mkhululi Dube wants to keep pressure on log leaders who are leading by four points. Archers’ hopes will be pinned on the likes of Brian Ndlovu, Nkululeko Ncube, youngster Tafadzwa Mtomba and Albert Tawanda who have been putting up good performance.
Captain Dube said they wanted to defend their title which is under threat from the high flying Railstars.
Dube said the return of last season’s captain Ernest “Maphepha” Sibanda from the United Kingdom was a huge morale booster for the squad which has been playing very well ever since.
Table toppers Railstars will play host to Old Nick Mine who have been playing very well of late. Support Unit Fairbridge will play against rivals and third placed Wisewaters.
