In a statement on Thursday, Clerk of Parliament, Mr Austin Zvoma said the both the Lower and Upper Houses had been recalled to deal with Bills that are before Parliament.
“His Excellency the President, Cde Robert Mugabe has in terms of Standing Order 194 and Standing Order 187 for the House of Assembly and Senate respectively, recalled and summoned the two Houses to sit from the 31st May 2011.
“The two Houses had adjourned to take part in the Thematic Committees of Copac.
“The Houses have been recalled to sit from 31st May 2011 to consider Bills currently before Parliament and to ratify Multilateral Agreements and Protocols,” he said.
Mr Zvoma said all MPs except those attending the Bulawayo seminar are expected to attend.
The House of Assembly and Senate had previously adjourned to June 13 and June 5 respectively.
