The Parliamentary Portfolio Committee on Transport and Infrastructural Development is today touring the Civil Aviation Authority of Zimbabwe facilities at the Robert Mugabe International Airport in Harare.
The facilities include radar and communication systems that were installed and recently commissioned.

In his remarks, CAAZ director general Engineer Elijah Chingosho said maintenance of the country’s airspace is important for the country’s tourism industry.

“All the people you see coming into our airports as tourists do so due to the confidence they have in the safety of our airspace,” he said.
