Apparently Mai Azuka who plays a witch in most African movies has been warned “to stop behaving like a Jezebel” by a senior pastor with the New Covenant Family Ministry, David Ogbueli. According to Nigeriafilms, Pastor Ogbueli warned Mai Azuka during the church’s camp meeting held over the weekend at the Redemption Camp of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Lagos/Ibadan Expressway, Ogun State.
“During one of his teachings on Saturday, March 30, 2013, at the camp meeting, Pastor Ogbueli lamented that Mama G (Mai Azuka) is being tagged ‘a bad woman’ by many people due to the roles she plays in most of her movies which depicts her as that.
“He further warned the actress to work towards changing the bad notion people have about her to a good one. Stop behaving like a Jezebel as you act in movies,” Pastor Ogbueli was quoted as saying. The widow and grandmother actress attends Dominion City alongside music star J-Martins, who plays the keyboard for the church. — Nigeriafilms.
