THE leading pastor at Waterfalls Tokisto Church, Precious Mafuta, has taken legal action against Martha Mbewe and Makore Jasi.
He accuses the couple of allegedly physically abusing him and destroying his garden.
He sought a peace order against them and demanded they leave his church.
“Martha assaulted me, bit me on my arm and she now goes to my in-laws spreading bad news about me.
“I am their pastor and I no longer want them at my church.
“They destroyed my garden and burnt down the church poles.
“I have been residing at the church for two years and they now came claiming that they want to take the stand,” said Mafuta.
The couple denied the allegations and said they never assaulted him or destroyed his garden.
Magistrate Sharon Mashavira granted the protection order and barred the couple from visiting the pastor’s house.
